Men dette området er stort, og inneholder mye mer enn bare pyramider. De er også og jækla tunge å klatre opp. På månepyramiden kan man bare klatre 1.platå, men på solpyramiden kan man klatre helt opp. Fantastisk utsikt.
Er du veldig interssert i historie, google er svaret.
I went on a daytour to Teotihuacan. 2 big pyramids, about one hour drive outside MC. Piramide del Sol og Piramide de la Luna (sun and moon), is built in the 7th.century or something. We had a great guide. He only talked way to much. About the history....I remember maybe 10%. Google it if u'r very interested in history.
But this area is huge, and contains a lot more than the pyramids. Btw: they are really heavy to climb, huge steps. On the "moon-pyramid" you can climb up the first set of stairs, but on the "sun-pyramid" you can climb all the way to the top. Great view.

Finally on top of Pyramide del Sol. Crazy people dancing to great latino-rythms at the top |
Etter all klatring og varme ble vi tatt med til et lokalt salgssted for alt fra steiner til smykker og forklaring om fremgangsmåte i alt de laget. Vi fikk også smake forskjellig tequila :)
After all the climbing and heat that involved, they took us to a local place which sold rocks, masks, jewelery and so on. They also told us about different rocks, what they used them for, and how the process was. We also tried different sorts of tequila :)
Tequila!!!!! The one to the left was really good, but not sold outside Mexico :( |
Me and Chris trying on sombreros, so we felt like real Mexicans. |
